This photographic project tells about Italian families who dedicate their lives to caring for sheep—a tradition passed down through generations. Among them, I encountered this young girl who insisted on showing me how important her role was within her family. Despite her tender age, she carried herself with a sense of pride and responsibility
What struck me most was how she managed to balance this feeling of importance with her innate, childlike candor.

The most touching moment was when she carefully picked up a lamb that had wandered off and gently carried it back to its mother.
